Office Hours allows individuals the opportunity to meet with two members of the Board in a private setting to discuss issues and concerns. Office Hours can be scheduled with the District Clerk, Mary Ellen Chiera, at 914-777-5252 prior to 4:00 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled Board of Education Planning Session.
Gloria Golle, President
Term Expires: 2025
Gloria is beginning her second term as a trustee and is the President of the Board of Education. In her tenure as a trustee, Gloria has served as a representative on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Policy Committee, Facilities Committee, Safety Committee, and was a district representative for the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association as well.
Prior to being elected to the Board in 2019, Gloria served on the PTSA in various roles and was President of the PTSA for the district for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years. In addition, Gloria served on several school committees where she advocated for the shared needs of both the district and the community.
Gloria is a life-long resident and alumna. She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Hofstra University. Gloria and her husband Martin, also a Rye Neck graduate, have two children presently in the district.Rebecca Mansell, Vice President

Rebecca is starting her second year of board service and is the Vice President of the board. She will continue to serve on the Special Services and DEI committees and will represent Rye Neck on the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association.
A graduate of Brown University and Bank Street College of Education, Rebecca has had a long career in education. She spent nearly twenty years working in a public school in Manhattan, both as an eighth-grade teacher and guidance counselor. Rebecca has run mental health workshops for middle schoolers at Hommocks through the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center and volunteers as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), working with children in the foster care system. Rebecca was the chair of the Rye Neck PTSA Advocacy Committee and has served as class parent for each of her three daughters.Patty Nashelsky, Trustee

Patty is in her 8th year as Board Trustee. She served as President for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. She currently serves on the Audit Committee and Policy Committee. She is the representative to the BOCES Board, and the District Safety Team. Additionally, she is a Director on, and Treasurer for, the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association.
Patty graduated from Siena College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and Hofstra University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree. She was a practicing attorney for 10 years before deciding to stay home to raise her four sons: one is currently in 12th grade at Rye Neck and three have graduated Rye Neck and gone on to college.Jennifer Rubin, Trustee

A life-long resident of Westchester, Jennifer has been living in Rye Neck for over two decades. She attended New York University where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees and recently retired from her teaching career at the Early Childhood Center in Rye. She and her husband Jeff have three children: one in the high school and the other two are Rye Neck graduates currently attending college.
Jennifer has been actively involved in Rye Neck since 2005, where she first volunteered as head class parent in her daughter’s kindergarten classroom and also became a member of the Booster Club. She is a dedicated member of the PTSA previously serving on the Budget Committee and holding positions on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Bellows, the Vice President of the Middle School and Corresponding Secretary. Additionally, Jennifer has served on the Food Services Committee, the Elementary and High School Principal’s Advisory Committees, and the District’s Programs and Priorities Committee, lending a voice to discussions on the school budget and valued programs.
While on the Board, Jennifer served as Vice President for two years as well as Board representative to the Department of Special Education, the District’s Safety Team, the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association (WestPut) and the Booster and Gold Card Clubs.
Jennifer’s most recent leadership role was Board President for the past two years. This coming school year, she is looking forward to continuing her Board service as a trustee and serving on the WestPut, Gold Card, Mental Health and Policy Committees.Devina O'Reilly, Trustee

Devina has been an engaged Rye Neck resident since moving here from London in 2010. She teaches ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) to international students part time and holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and French. Devina and her husband Martin have two children in the Rye Neck schools. She believes her experience of being an international parent adds a global perspective to the Rye Neck Board of Education.
Devina's passion for working with the school is shown in her continuous volunteer work in the district over the last 12 years. She was a member of the Principal's Advisory Committee at F.E. Bellows and the Middle School. In addition, she worked with a group of parents who initiated the successful creation of the Health Education Advisory Committee. As a member of the PTSA, she enjoys being part of the diverse Rye Neck International Committee, as well as having been a class parent several times. Devina's love for cooking led her to run the after school cooking club at F.E. Bellows.
Devina, along with two other parents, started a Rye Neck Girl Scout troop in 2012 for thirteen 2nd graders. This troop is still going strong today. The Silver Award was achieved by members of the troop cadettes who saw the introduction of the first bike safety program, in conjunction with the Mamaroneck Police, for 5th grade students at F.E. Bellows. The troop is currently working on their Gold Awards.
This will be Devina's third year on the Board of Education. She is the representative to the DEI and Facilities Advisory Committee.Elizabeth Yong, Trustee

Elizabeth and her husband, Ping, have lived in Rye Neck with their three children since 2019. She is a proud product of New York public schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Syosset, graduating with a B.A. from Yale University in Economics and East Asian Studies, and brings over 20 years of experience as a volunteer both at globally recognized schools and as an adult educator.
She is a member of the Rye Neck International Committee and is an active volunteer in Mamaroneck and beyond. Previously, she worked 10 years in asset management. This is Elizabeth’s first year on the Board of Education in Rye Neck.Mic testmicmic
