Bond Referendum Information

The Rye Neck Union Free School District is proposing a $20 million bond and use of the capital reserve fund of approximately $3 million in a referendum on October 1, 2026. The proposal includes a comprehensive upgrade of the district’s middle/high school athletic facilities, featuring two lighted multi-use turf fields, a new six-lane track, and a field house with restrooms, team rooms, concession space, athletic trainer facilities, and storage.  The bond would also fund renovations to the tennis courts, baseball and softball dugouts and backstops, as well as construction of a new storage building. In addition to the athletic complex improvements, the bond proposal includes districtwide capital upgrades such as HVAC replacements and enhancements, window replacements at Daniel Warren Elementary School, and Cat 6 cabling upgrades at the middle/high school.
