     Jason Carmel, MD, PhD has been a Rye Neck Resident since 2012. He and his wife Amanda have 3 children. He is a member of the Audit Committee and the Mental Health and School Safety Teams. He has served on the High School Principal’s Advisory Committee and has given science lectures to the high school for the last 5 years.
     Professionally, he is a neurologist and neuroscientist at Columbia University Medical Center. He graduated from Stanford (BS, human biology), Rutgers (PhD, neuroscience) and Columbia (MD, medicine) Universities. He directs the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center and the Movement Recovery Laboratory and serves on the board of the American Society for Neurorehabilitation and the Cerebral Palsy Research Network. He has fiduciary responsibility for these organizations and BackStop Neural, a company he co-founded. He treats patients whose goal is recovery of movement. He teaches medical students and neurology residents about nervous system injury and repair. On weekends, Jason can be found rooting at his kids’ athletic events, riding his bicycle with neighbors, and assisting Amanda in their garden. He is thrilled to help Rye Neck achieve its full potential.

     Erica is starting her second year of Board service and will once again serve as Vice President of the Board. She currently serves on the Audit Committee, as well as a liaison for Special Services and the Rye Neck School Foundation.
     A graduate of the University of Florida, Erica celebrated a successful career in sales and marketing in both the sports and publishing fields. Erica also co-founded SnackRiot, which shipped healthy snack boxes to subscribers and corporations nationwide.
     Erica has been a proud member of the Rye Neck community for over 11 years, where she has held numerous positions within the PTSA and Booster Club, as well as served on Elementary and Middle School PACs. In her free time Erica loves to practice yoga and see live music. Erica and her husband Greg are raising their three children in the district - her Rye Neck spirit is strong!

     Gloria is in the third year of her second term as a trustee. In her tenure on the Rye Neck Board of Education, Gloria has served as President, Vice President, a representative on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Audit Committee, Policy Committee, Facilities Committee, Safety Committee, Gold Card Club, and was a district representative for the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association.   
     Prior to being elected to the Board in 2019 and again in 2022, Gloria served on the PTSA in various roles and was President of the PTSA for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years. In addition, Gloria served on several school committees where she advocated for the shared needs of both the district and the community. Gloria is a life-long resident and alumna. She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Hofstra University. Gloria and her husband Martin, also a Rye Neck graduate, have two children in the district.

     Elizabeth and her husband Ping have lived in Rye Neck with their three children since 2019. This is her third year as a trustee where she serves on the Policy Committee, Facilities Committee and DEI Committee. Previously, she has also served as Chair of the Audit Committee as well as a liaison for Special Services.
     In addition, Elizabeth is a member of the PTSA's Rye Neck International Committee and an active volunteer in Mamaroneck and beyond. Previously, she worked for 10 years in asset management. A proud product of New York public schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Syosset, she graduated with a B.A. from Yale University in Economics and East Asian Studies and brings over 20 years of experience as a volunteer both at globally recognized schools and as an adult educator. On weekends, Elizabeth can be found gardening, hiking with her dogs, and making music with family, friends, and neighbors. She is blessed to have the opportunity to serve her community in such a meaningful way.

     As Trustee with the Rye Neck Board of Education, Nikki Barker serves on the Policy Committee, Technology Committee and represents the district aon the Westchester-Putnam School Boards' Association.
     As an attorney, Nikki is admitted to the Federal Bar of the United States Eastern and Southern District Court of New York, as well as the State Bar of New York and Florida. Nikki currently specializes in non-profit organizations.
     Here in Rye Neck, in addition to roles on various PTSA committees and being a head class parent, Nikki has served on the Executive Board of the PTSA. Nikki is a liaison with the Booster Club, and has also served on the Elementary School Principal Advisory Committee. Nikki has served as Co-Troop Leader of Girl Scout Troops in NYC and here in Rye Neck. Nikki is a founding Board Member of the Rye Neck Youth Lacrosse Association, the Rye Neck School Foundation and Ava’s Voice, an organization dedicated to empowering youth with Usher Syndrome. She was a parent member of the Rye Neck Strategic Planning Committee, and is looking forward to all of the new innovations on the horizon for the district. Nikki is excited for the opportunity to continue to serve the Rye Neck Community as a Board of Education trustee and to be a positive voice for our students and district.

     This is Halli’s first year on the Board. She will serve on the Special Services Committee, Facilities Committee and Safety Committee. 
     Prior to being elected to the Board, Halli served as the PTSA VP of Daniel Warren, VP of FE Bellows, VP of Fundraising and Corresponding Secretary. She has also sat on the facilities committee that helped form RN’s capital improvement bond, participated on many Principal Advisory Committees and is an active member of the RN Booster Club.
     Halli graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a BA in communications. She has been an active member of the RN community for over 12 years and has three children currently in the district.
